![]() and I've just spent a lot on a new laptop to do it all especially. and I've just spent a few hundred pounds on quite a few fully sampled instruments for use with Kontakt. ![]() What am I to do here? I've just bought Acid. Thus I don't seem to be able to set the loaded instruments to use less memory. However, of the two bought instruments I'm initially trying, this edit mode seems unavailable and all I can specify are some other more general 'instrument settings'. Having researched the issue, the solution seems either to move to another 64bit DAW completely (but I've just paid £120+ for Acid) or change the 'instrument settings' for a loaded instrument in kontakt between 'sampler' and 'DFD' (direct from disk) mode. ![]() meaning my nice 8GB ram on an i7 laptop won't even get touched! But to cap it all, I can't actually use Acid, because Kontakt crashes with fatal low memory warnings just after loading even one instrument 'session strings' and then Acid crashes with it! However, I completely overlooked the fact that it is only a 32-bit only application. I have also made the leap and purchased Acid Pro 7. The following has been fixed or changed in Kontakt 7.6.In a bid to step up my entire music production setup, I have purchased Kontakt and several sample instruments from Native Instruments such as 'session strings', 'session horns' etc. IMPROVED: Quick-Load menus in the top left of the instrument header now tells the user if Quick-Load is emptyĪDDED: 20 new Form shapes for the Wavetable source moduleĪDDED: Vibrato/Chorus and Wow/Flutter factory presets from Guitar Rig 7įIXED: Kontakt would not respect offline rendering mode flag sent from host with the VST3 targetįIXED: S1200 and MP60 sampler modes did not workįIXED: Typing a value for the Rate parameter of Vibrato/Chorus did not work correctlyĪDDED KSP: NKS2 parameters and navigation can be defined with KSP commandsĪDDED KSP: New control parameter, $CONTROL_PAR_TYPE, which returns the type of UI widget belonging to a specific UI IDĪDDED KSP: New control parameter, $CONTROL_PAR_CUSTOM_ID, which allows assigning a custom value to each UI widgetĪDDED KSP: New internal constant, $NI_UI_ID, which returns the UI ID of the widget that executed the UI callbackĪDDED KSP: $EVENT_PAR_MIDI_CHANNEL can now be set for events in instrument scriptsĪDDED KSP: Engine parameter for Raum Predelay tempo sync ( $ENGINE_PAR_RAUM_PREDELAY_UNIT)įIXED KSP: Twin Delay Predelay tempo sync, Cross and Width engine parameters did not work correctlyįIXED KSP: $EVENT_PAR_MOD_VALUE_(EX_)ID getter now works properly when there is an active voice attached to the specifieįIXED KSP: Incorrect wording in script warning for get_group_idx() command IMPROVED: Loading an Instrument from full-screen browser now replaces the focused Instrument instead of adding it to the rack visibility of keyboard, info bar, side pane), zoom settings and full-screen browser IMPROVED: Per instance persistence of the Kontakt GUI state, which includes the layout (e.g. ![]() Signal Processors in the Outputs SectionĪDDED: Kontakt can now be used directly with Kontrol MK3 keyboardsĬHANGED: Options → Loading → "Ask for confirmation when loading or replacing modified instruments" is now set to off for all usersĬHANGED: Options → Handling → "MIDI channel assignment for loaded patches" option is now set to "Assign to omni" for all usersĬHANGED: Options → Interface → both “Suppress drawing” options are now found in Mapping Editor’s Edit → Display optionsĬHANGED: It is now possible to focus on an empty instrument slot even in Single view.Assigning MIDI Controllers in the Side Pane. ![]()
